Description
Beach Samba, recorded by Astrud Gilberto in 1967 for Verve, highlights her soft, playful voice in a breezy bossa nova-pop blend. Arranged by Eumir Deodato and Don Sebesky, the album features standouts like “Stay,” the wordless “Beach Samba,” and a sweet duet with her young son on “You Didn’t Have to Be So Nice.” With contributions from Ron Carter, Toots Thielemans, and Marcos Valle, it’s a warm, elegant fusion of Brazilian charm and American pop. 140g Black Vinyl in Gatefold Jacket.
