Description
Hard rock meets funk on this essential entry from Zambian guitarist and bandleader Paul Ngozis catalog. A keystone release of the 1970s Zamrock movement, Viva Ngozi, featuring Chrissy Zebby Tembo, was first issued in 1976 on the Chris Editions imprint, and only in Zambia. Until now, the recording has never seen a reissue.
For RSD Black Friday, Now-Again Records presents Viva Ngozi on opaque Orange vinyl, in a package with an 8 page booklet detailing the story of Paul Ngozi and the Ngozi Familys story, with rare photographs, discography and annotation.
