St. Anger – ‘some Kind of Orange’ Colored Vinyl [Import]

Description

Some Kind Of Orange Colored Vinyl reissue of the divisive 2003 album, “St. Anger”. The album marked a departure from their earlier work with it’s raw sound, absence of guitar solos, and experimentation with different tunings and metal styles. It was recorded during a turbulent period for Metallica, including internal conflicts and the departure of bassist Jason Newsted. The band’s struggles during this period were documented in the acclaimed film “Some Kind of Monster.” The album received mixed reviews from critics and fans but is regarded as a pivotal album in Metallica’s career, reflecting a period of significant change for the band. Over time, “St. Anger” has been re-evaluated by some fans and critics, who have come to appreciate it’s rawness and emotional depth. It remains a testament to Metallica’s willingness to take risks and explore new musical territories, even after decades of success.
