Description
LABEL: Interscope
VINYL RELEASE DATE: 1995
Primus charted themselves through deep and perplexingly funky waters for their fourth full-length release. Indeed, the Bay Area trio were on their tweek again while making the gold-certified Punchbowl, which ends up swirling through funk-slapped sludge-metal, lysergic ragtime, fluttery-fingered bass virtuosity, and most notably the bands iconically innuendo-heavy, Grammy-nominated single, Wynonas Big Brown Beaver. Slurp up the subversive strangeness of Primus Tales from the Punchbowl now via this double LP graced with alternate, seafaring artwork than the original 1995 release.
