No Place of Warmth isnt just the third album from Dallas, Texas sentinels of Cold School Death Metal its a declaration, a journey through a graveyard of pain, loss, and revenge thats reconfigured into a statement of empowerment, strength, and self-worth. Produced and mixed by Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore), Frozen Soul has honed its arsenal to its deadliest edge yet. Tracks like the crushing Dreadnought (featuring Sanguisugaboggs Devin Swank) and the anthemic Killin Time (Until Its Time to Kill) hit with a brutality and clarity the band has only hinted at until now.
After circling the globe with Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, and Killswitch Engage, No Place of Warmth is the record poised to cement Frozen Souls place in American death metal permafrost. The bands inner circle adds even further bite: Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) unleashes feral snarls on the title track, while Robb Flynn (Machine Head) fuels the war cry of Invoke War.
This is Frozen Soul at their heaviest No Place of Warmth is a relentless snowplow of a record, set on a path to conquest.
