Not only does Diamond Eyes cover look utterly stunning in vinyl form, the music was meant to be enriched by a high-fidelity listening experience. More than any other band whove ever been tagged as nu-metal, Deftones rich, dreamy, dynamically engaging songwriting pairs wonderfully well with a comfy living room seat and good speakers. The songs on Diamond Eyes from the riotous Royal to the atmospheric Beauty School build a world unto themselves, and its one that deserves to be explored with your turntable.
