Limited edition 180gm double vinyl LP pressing housed in a gatefold sleeve. At the onset of the ’70s Grand Funk Railroad were the pinnacle of American rock ‘n’ roll, selling out arenas of ecstatic fans all over the U.S. and beyond. This no-nonsense band from Michigan defined the sound of early working class hard rock groups with their over-the-top sound, Mark Farner’s heavy riffing, Mel Schacher’s hard-hitting bass lines and Don Brewer’s intricate and funky drums. This essential 1970 smash showcases the band at the height of their live glory offering up raw and powerful testaments of “Mean Mistreater,” “Heartbreaker” and The Animals classic “Inside Looking Out” among many more.
