Description
They came out strong with their first two albums, but Songs for the Deaf is the one that made Queens of the Stone Age legends. The bands 2002 record features their most stacked lineup ever Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan and showcases their mastery of the rock spectrum: from the garage-rock pep of No One Knows and the stoner-metal perfection of First It Giveth to the freewheeling alt-rock of Go With the Flow. Ya gotta own it on wax. -Eli Enis
