Description

In 2009,Kraftwerkupgraded their Kling Klang masters with the latest studio technology and these magnificent recordings still sound like nothing else in the history of music.Kraftwerkis unique, pristine, profound and beautiful – all at once. Decades may pass, but their streamlined synthetic symphonies stand outside time, as fresh as tomorrow, transcendent and sublime.

Performed by the quartet of Htter, Schneider, Flr and Karl Bartos, the classicTrans Europe Expressis one of the most inspired electronically-based pop records of all time. A beautiful spacey suite of electronics and deadpan vocals, the 1977 release stands as arguably the quintessentialKraftwerk sound recording experience.

“With Trans Europe Express, they set out to reinvent a different legend: that of Europa itself, in the process they changed pop music forever.” – Rolling Stone
