Description
Channeling the alienation and sonic grandeur of Pink FloydsThe Wall, erstwhile Southern sludge merchants Baroness largely left metal behind when they unveiled this stunning double album in 2012. Spearheaded by thundering single Take My Bones Away and rumbling rocker March to the Sea, the rest ofYellow & Greenoffers shimmering melodies (Cocainium, Eula, Collapse), quirky indie rock (Psalms Alive, Mtns. (The Crown & Anchor)) and wistful folk (If I Forget Thee, Low Country).
