Description
Led by guitarist-vocalist and king wastoid Jus Oborn, English doom dealers Electric Wizard sent Sabbathian riff worship into a gaping black hole on Come My Fanatics. Backed by turgid guitar fuzz, acid-damaged drums and cult movie samples, Oborn howled tales inspired by Hammer Horror, Seventies biker flicks and H.P. Lovecraft from behind the wall of sleep. Released in 1997, it packed a devastating cosmic bong-load in anticipation of the bands magnum opus, Dopethrone.J.Bennett
