Their breakthrough release was heralded with nearly universal praise upon its release in 2004, and it was subsequently nominated for a Grammy for Alternative Music Album of the Year.Funeralhas continued to gain popularity and accolades among music fans and critics alike ever since, appearing on numerous “Best of the Decade” lists around the world includingNME,Q,Pitchfork,The Guardian,MOJO, andRolling Stone, which named it the No. 1 album of the ’00s.
