Description
Assembled less than a year after his passing, The Real Folk Blues is an essential overview of Sonny Boy Williamson IIs brief but incendiary career as a frontman for the Chess family of labels. Having contributed notable harmonica solos to works by Howlin Wolf and Elmore James, Williamson is in rare form on classic cuts like Bring It On Home, One Way Out, Thats All I Want and more. This reissue faithfully replicates the albums original sleeve, with liner notes by Chess songwriter Willie Dixon.
